The Battle Tested Coach is about how Coach Byron Wimphrie took an incredible journey from the valleys of life to the promises of God. Wimphrie knew, from early on in life, that he wanted to follow his father's footsteps in becoming a head coach. However, he didn't realize that the calling on his life would put him through some very difficult and dark times. in this book, coach reveals some of his tough moments and he also uses this book to teach you how he relied on God to defeat the Giants of life while in the valleys of life. He had to overcome many obstacles, but when finally given an opportunity, he took a mediocre high school program and turned them into a State Champion.
